What can I put in the composting machine?
Our composting machines are designed to handle almost any food waste, whether raw or cooked. Additionally, compostable packaging can also be placed in the machine, but we recommend crushing it first to reduce volume and particle size.
What should I avoid putting in the machine?
Non-organic materials such as plastic, glass, and metal should not be placed in the machine. These items can cause damage and potentially malfunction the system.
Can I add compostable products to the machine?
Yes, certified compostable products are safe to use in the machine. However, it’s advisable to limit compostable materials to no more than 40% of the machine’s daily processing capacity.
Does the machine produce any harmful emissions or gases?
No, our TianJian composting machines do not release harmful emissions or gases. The process is aerobic, mimicking natural composting by using agitation, airflow, and microorganisms, which prevents the production of dangerous gases like methane.
Why is my compost powdery?
A powdery consistency in compost is completely normal. It indicates that the compost is in the right state for hygienic recycling and harvesting. If the compost is too dusty, you can add water or moisture-rich food to adjust its consistency.
Is the compost harmful to humans or animals?
No, our nutrient-rich compost is safe for both humans and animals. Harmful bacteria are eliminated through pasteurization, and it has been tested to meet the safety standards in China.
